It's been an interesting few days since my last comments. We have left colonial Germany for hillier climbs having passed through some of the most stunning scenery I have seen in Brazil. Passing through Rio do Sul, Xanxere and now Sao Miguel do Oeste,I have noticed a dramatic change in both climate and people. Our last two concerts have been a real test due to cold hands and open doors but what has impressed me most is the size of audiences and the warmth of the receptions given to us. I was really pleased with our concerts in Blumenau and Rio do Sul and have caught a glimpse of the future of the orchestra. Now that the right paths are being forged I believe that we can truly extract the very best out of our forth-coming adventures both musically and socially. The group as of yet is in positive spirits and is being to show a maturity beyond its years. I'm hoping for more German beer and a spot of poker!.
